Fallon County Noxious Weed Board Minutes – November 4th 2025
FALLON COUNTY WEED BOARD
November 4th, 2025
Members in attendance: Sara Berger, Roddy Rost, Lance Kono, Bev Burghduff (called in).
Meeting called to order at 7:04pm.
Lance moved to accept the minutes from the September meeting – Bev – 2nd, motion carried.
There was no budget to look over at this meeting.
The crew is all done for the year. Karissa, Carlee and Sheridan stayed until 10/30/25 and Sara thinks she will have 4 for sure back next summer.
The equipment is all winterized with the exception of the crew truck. That ended up with a flat tire on the last day – Sara needs to get that fixed.
Spray Days will be January 7, 2026. This year will be different. We were invited to work with Little Beaver Conservation District. They are having a workshop that day and we will have Spray Days in the afternoon. It will be held at Thee Garage and Steakhouse. The weed department will take care of advertising and snacks for the afternoon break.
Annual Conference will be held in Billings this year. It will be Feb 11-12. Sara will give more information on it at our next meeting.
Sara briefly touched on winter projects but will bring them up at the next meeting.
Sara will be working on an education grant for this year. She is hoping to get a few plant presses and provide more education for youth and everyone in Fallon County.
Sara asked the board if they would be ok with coming into the office when she gets the bills done to look over the cost share before she sends everything out. They were ok with it.
