Baker Rural District Augusut 2023 Meeting
THE REGULAR SCHEDULED BAKER RURAL DISTRICT MEETING WAS HELD AUGUST 10, 2023 AT 7:00 P.M. AT 8254 HIGHWAY 12 IN THE RURAL DISTRICT OFFICE.
PRESENT: Chairman; Turk Stark, Vice Chairman; Randy Hoenke, Trustee; Fred Hoff, Fire Chief; Tom Bruha, Secretary; Stephanie Croy
ABSENT: Treasurer; Dick Chester, Trustee; Chris Meccage
Motion was made to approve the presented minutes of the July 6, 2023 meeting by Randy. The motion was 2nd by Fred. Motion carried. All Aye.
OLD BUSINESS:
The board heard from Tom, the insurance for the fireman didn’t pay as much as the board figured the coverage was. Turk and Tom are going to go and talk to Jayde in the coming week to look into the coverage total.
Ladder truck had an inspection and after some maintenance passed and is good to go.
Dick is still waiting on an estimate from Direct Electric about new lights in the wash bay, reported by Randy.
NEW BUSINESS:
There was no new business to come before the board.
Fred made the motion to pay the bills. Randy 2nd the motion.
