Baker Rural Fire District December 2023 Meeting
THE REGULAR SCHEDULED BAKER RURAL DISTRICT MEETING WAS HELD DECEMBER 7, 2023 AT 7:00 P.M. AT 8254 HIGHWAY 12 IN THE RURAL DISTRICT OFFICE.
PRESENT: Chairman; Turk Stark, Vice Chairman; Randy Hoenke, Treasurer; Dick Chester, Trustee; Fred Hoff, Trustee; Chris Meccage, Fire Chief; Tom Bruha, Secretary; Stephanie Croy
Motion was made to approve the presented minutes of the November 9, 2023, meeting by Randy. The motion was 2nd by Chris. Motion carried. All Aye.
OLD BUSINESS:
Mike Starks, claim that was sent in to insurance, was declined. Reason was due to insurance being changed to cover all the fireman after the accident occurred. Now all the members are covered.
The last meeting, we had not heard anything about wash bay lights. Dick and Tom reported they are all in and work great.
Tom, has talked to Eric in Glendive. He reported that TABS will fix the lights on the South Tower. Tom did mention the 24/7 light system and they told him they are still moving forward with this plan for the South Tower. Eric is back in the office after his accident.
NEW BUSINESS:
Tom, received a call from Broz this week. They let him know they have river rock to replace the river rock after the 6th street project.
Fred made the motion to pay the bills. Chris 2nd the motion.
There being no further business to come before the board. Fred made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Dick 2nd the motion. Motion Carried. All Aye. The meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
