Baker Rural Fire District – June 2024 Special Meeting
Special meeting was held June 10, 2024 by the Baker Rural Fire District. The reason for the meeting was Tom received a 2nd quote for the replacement building at Strangford’s. Griffith Steel gave a quote of $20,850.00. Fred made the motion to go with Graham’s quote of $10,350.00. Chris 2nd the motion. Motion carried. All Aye.
Tom also was asking if the board wanted Baker Metal to haul the destroyed building to town. Tom also mentioned the fire building at Rusley’s needs a new walk in 36” door. It has a rotten frame. Rick Madler said he can replace it in a couple weeks.
