Baker Rural Fire District – November 14th 2024 Meeting
THE REGULAR SCHEDULED BAKER RURAL DISTRICT MEETING WAS HELD NOVEMBER 14, 2024, AT 7:00 P.M. AT 8254 HIGHWAY 12 IN THE RURAL DISTRICT OFFICE.
PRESENT: Chairman; Turk Stark, Trustee; Chris Meccage, Trustee; Fred Hoff, Fire Chief; Tom Bruha, Secretary; Stephanie Croy
ABSENT: Vice Chairman; Randy Hoenke, Treasurer; Dick Chester
A motion was made to approve the presented minutes of the October 3, 2024, meeting by Fred. The motion was 2nd by Chris. Motion carried. All Aye.
OLD BUSINESS:
DNRC truck now has a siren and lights.
Units #426 had a hose test this last month, which had some hose that was needing to be replaced. Unit #490 still is in need of some repairs. Having some issues finding the part for this unit. Unit #484 had the throttle body was needing replace.
Tom had not heard anything from Chuck on the building. Tom has been trying to reach him but has not had any luck.
NEW BUSINESS:
This last month there was a day of cleaning the station. The sump pumps were all sucked out with the Hydro-vac.
Unit #415 the battery issue was resolved there was a broke wire on the battery.
Watford City had a Hazmat training, which we had 3 guys travel up there for the training.
Chris made the motion to pay the bills. Fred 2nd the motion.
The following claims were approved to be paid:
