Plevna Rural Fire -DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING – August 2024

BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MEETING OF THE PLEVNA RURAL FIRE DISTRICT

August 12, 2024

Chairman Shaun Crisler called the meeting to order, Directors Dana Buerkle, Cody Rieger, Larry Steffes, and Bobby Wiedmer were present. Chief Kalyn Bohle and Recording clerk Stephanie Crisler were also present.

The minutes of the July 2024, Board of Director’s meeting were read and approved.

Motion was made by Director Dana, seconded by Director Cody, and carried to pay the following bills:

                     Chairman Shaun asked for old business, he let the board know the new truck has been ordered.

                     Chairman Shaun asked for new business. Director Dana mentioned tender 933 needs to be replumbed to all stainless steel to stop the leak. He received an estimate for about $3,200. The board decided to table it for further discussion. Chairman Shaun mentioned the plastic top mount fuel tank on truck 942 was broken. Director Dana made the motion to order 2 aluminum fuel tanks for that truck and the one previously purchased. Cody seconded the motion. 

     There being no further business, Director Larry made a motion to adjourn.  Motion seconded by Director Bobby and carried.
