BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MEETING

OF THE

PLEVNA RURAL FIRE DISTRICT

January 11, 2024

Chairman Shaun Crisler called the meeting to order, Directors Dana Buerkle, Cody Rieger, Bobby Wiedmer, and Larry Steffes were present. Chief Kalyn Bohle and Recording clerk Stephanie Crisler were also present. 

The minutes of the December 2023, Board of Director’s meeting were read and approved.

Motion was made by Director Bobby, seconded by Director Cody, and carried to pay the following bills:

                     Chairman Shaun asked for old business. Director Dana discussed the electrical bid from Direct Electric for the community center. Director Larry made the motion to have Direct Electric fix the electrical and add a switch by the front door, Director Bobby seconded. Director Dana will call and get it scheduled. It was also mentioned that the sanitizer at the community center is not working. Chairman Shaun will call and see if someone can come fix it.

     Chairman Shaun asked for new business.  Chairman Shaun mentioned that Adam called, and the new tank will be here in probably 6-8 weeks. He also mentioned that Jill Hildebrand had resigned from cleaning the community and called the others that were interested from before and no one was interested. Director Dana made the motion to have Stephanie go ahead and clean it again, Cody seconded. Director Dana also mentioned that the propane tanks should be filled. The board decided to have him call Plevna Propane to fill them. 

     Director Dana motioned to adjourn, Director Larry seconded.
