Plevna Rural Fire -DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING September 2023

BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MEETING

OF THE

PLEVNA RURAL FIRE DISTRICT

September 14, 2023

Chairman Shaun Crisler called the meeting to order, Directors Bobby Wiedmer and Dana Buerkle were present. Recording clerk Stephanie Crisler was also present. Directors Cody Rieger and Larry Steffes alond with Chief Kalyn Bohle were absent.

The minutes of the August 2023, Board of Director’s meeting were read and approved.

Motion was made by Director Dana, seconded by Director Bobby, and carried to pay the following bills:

                     Chairman Shaun asked for old business, the board looked over several ice machine options. Director Bobby made the motion to buy an ice machine from Webstaurant, Director Dana seconded. Motion carried. 

Chairman Shaun asked for new business. Recording clerk Stephanie brought up the department workman’s comp not being offered through the town anymore. Director Dana made the motion to have Jade at the insurance store get us a policy. Director Bobby seconded. Director Dana mentioned Chad Follmer called him about filling our propane tanks for $1.30 a gallon. The board will have him fill the tank this time, Dana will call him.

There being no further business Dana made the motion to adjourn, Bobby seconded.
