Baker Rural Fire District – July 2024 Meeting
THE REGULAR SCHEDULED BAKER RURAL DISTRICT MEETING WAS HELD JULY 3, 2024, AT 7:00 P.M. AT 8254 HIGHWAY 12 IN THE RURAL DISTRICT OFFICE.
PRESENT: Chairman; Turk Stark, Vice Chairman; Randy Hoenke, Treasurer; Dick Chester, Trustee; Fred Hoff, Trustee; Chris Meccage, Fire Chief; Tom Bruha, Secretary; Stephanie Croy
A motion was made to approve the presented minutes of the June 6, 2024, meeting by Randy. The motion was 2nd by Chris. Motion carried. All Aye.
OLD BUSINESS:
Top Gun Asphalt still has not got back to Tom with a quote.
Still no news on Unit #490 tank.
NEW BUSINESS:
The replacement building for Strangford’s Chuck is going to start working on. Chuck will let Tom know when the building is ready.
The budget was turned in last month, but we have not heard anything back. The board did meet with the commissioners.
Last month the lot south of the fire hall had millings put down.
Chris made the motion to pay the bills. Fred 2nd the motion. The following claims were approved to be paid:
There being no further business to come before the board. Dick made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Randy 2nd the motion. Motion Carried. All Aye. The meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
