Baker Rural Fire District – May 2024 Meeting
THE REGULAR SCHEDULED BAKER RURAL DISTRICT MEETING WAS HELD MAY 2, 2024, AT 7:00 P.M. AT 8254 HIGHWAY 12 IN THE RURAL DISTRICT OFFICE.
PRESENT: Chairman; Turk Stark, Vice Chairman; Randy Hoenke, Trustee; Chris Meccage, Fire Chief; Tom Bruha, Secretary; Stephanie Croy
ABSENT: Treasurer; Dick Chester, Trustee; Fred Hoff, Trustee
A motion was made to approve the presented minutes of the April 4, 2024, meeting by Randy. The motion was 2nd by Chris. Motion carried. All Aye.
OLD BUSINESS:
Tom has not heard any news about #490’s new tank arriving. They will let Tom know when the tank arrives.
Tom has talked to Top Gun Asphalt about the parking lot repairs. We are still waiting to get the quote.
DNRC will be coming to inspect their truck. Tom mentioned there is a valve that is leaking. The department has tried to repair the value. DNRC told Tom they have the parts and will just fix the valve when they are here.
NEW BUSINESS:
Next month the board will be doing the budget for 2024-2025. The board will get a list of upcoming items for next year.
Chris made the motion to pay the bills. Randy 2nd the motion. The following claims were approved to be paid:
There being no further business to come before the board. Chris made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Randy 2nd the motion. Motion Carried. All Aye. The meeting adjourned at 7:44 P.M.
