Baker Rural Fire District Minutes
THE REGULAR SCHEDULED BAKER RURAL FIRE DISTRICT MEETING WAS HELD MARCH 3, 2022, AT 7:00 P.M. AT 8254 HIGHWAY 12 IN THE RURAL DISTRICT OFFICE.
PRESENT: Chairman; Turk Stark, Vice Chairman; Randy Hoenke, Treasurer; Dick Chester, Trustee; Fred Hoff, Trustee; Chris Meccage, Fire Chief; Tom Bruha, Secretary; Stephanie Croy
After reviewing the minutes for the February 3, 2022 meeting Randy made the motion to approve the minutes. Motion was 2nd by Fred. Motion Carried. All Aye.
OLD BUSINESS:
The Music Booster’s check #5555 Fred made the motion to Void. Dick 2nd the motion. Motion Carried. All Aye.
The generator for the hall is fixed. The transfer switch was bad.
Golva will be getting the building when the weather warms up. The board will be getting some written documents about the sale before the building is moved.
NEW BUSINESS:
The board received a money gift from Sherry Plummer in memory of Allen Wang. The $50.00 will be added to the memorial fund bank.
On April 23, 2022 Robert Singer will have 50 years with the department.
On March 26-27, Tom mentioned there will be a burn class training DNRC. This year there will be no Mon-Dak training. The burn trailer is no longer able to cross the state lines. Tom is going to look into what possibilities there are for getting grants for the department to get their own burn trailer.
Chris made the motion to pay the bills. Randy 2nd the motion.

Being there no more new business to come before the board. Fred made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Chris 2nd the motion. Motion Carried. All Aye. Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
