6:40 PM MANAGERS REPORT
Jennefer gave them a list of the events present and past that have happened at the Fairgrounds since the previous meeting. The Chamber is asking for a donation for a Raffle for a Fundraiser. They are requesting a “day at the Fair” package. The Board decided to table until March meeting. Jennefer also received a quote from Exotic Animal Petting Zoo. They are available and were wondering if we would be interested. The Board thought it sounded great but we have our other vendors in place but we could and would like to revisit it in 2027.
6:45 PM EXTENSION REPORT
No one appeared from Extension. Maddie Butori will be the Temp Admin Assistant. Dale, Gary and Jennefer attended the 4H Council meeting. They will have someone to assist with the Fair.
6:45 PM PUBLIC COMMENT
No one appeared for public comment.
6:50 PM OLD BUSINESS
Night Show-Ward sent over on the contracts right before the meeting and he will get on CAA for the other meeting so we can hopefully announce the concerts soon.
4th Of July-Wondering if Ward can find a Journey/Eagles type band. He knows a great Journey Tribute he will look into for us. We got approval from Commission to use the Generator for electricity. We maybe could use the Amphitheater if needed and their requirements don’t need a bit of a stage. We will either stop right before the Fireworks or if they choose to play during it that is up to them.
Rodeo Clown-Jennefer gave them a guy Rob Gann for $5,000. Wendy suggested contacting Jeff Marn for more options. Jennefer will get with him tomorrow and text the group with the options. PRCA/WPRA applications updates—Jennefer has the forms for Justin to sign to send in for approval.
7:10 PM NEW BUSINESS
Patio Band-We would like Derrick to ask Ward for a Classic Rock/Variety type band. $8,000 all in and rooms for Friday and Saturday. Derrick will talk with Ward about all this tomorrow.
Chairman Koenigsfeld asked if there was any other business we needed to discuss.
Dale and Gary brought up the Barn expansion. They feel that the Barn is plenty large enough. There is plenty of room in it. There may need to be a different arrangement, but the Board agreed they are not on board for an expansion at this time.
