The meeting was called to order by Lee Strait.

Public Comment – Agenda Items (10 minutes):
None
Minutes and Circulation, Service, and Financial Reports:
Sharon Huether moved, and Rebecca LaCroix seconded the motion to approve the minutes from the April meeting. All in favor. Motion carried. Mark Jacobsen moved, and Rebecca LaCroix seconded the motion to approve the Circulation, Service, and financial reports for February and March. All in favor. Motion carried.
Unfinished Business: Budget as amended, Rebecca LaCroix moved, and Sharon Huether seconded to approve the budget for FY25. All in favor, motion carried. COLA adjustment for Library employees. Longevity schedule & policy review.
New Business: Mark Jacobsen moved, and Rebecca LaCroix seconded to elect Charles Lee Strait as Chairman of the Board for fiscal year 2025. All in favor. Rebecca Lacroix moved, and Mark Jacobsen seconded to elect Sharon Huether as Vice Chairman of the board for fiscal year 2025. All in favor.
Director Updates:
The board was updated National Library Week & the start of the Summer Reading Program.
Announcements:
Library closure, July 4, 2025.
Trustee Training:
MSL Trustee Training: The History of Montana’s Library Federations, board members watched the 1/2 hour training & the video was discussed.
Next Meeting:
August13, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the Fallon County Library Basement/EOC.

Adjournment: Rebecca LaCroix made a motion to adjourn & Mark Jacobsen seconded.
