Bev asked what happens to the other half of the cost share, Sara said she wasn’t entirely sure, but Dave thought that the county absorbs it.
  • Bev moved to set the chemical prices for 2025 as follows, Lance 2nd – motion approved

Tordon: $52.50/gallon       Escort: $2.50/ounce

  • Sara brought up the spraying prices and asked if the board wanted to leave them where they were or change them. Currently they are $17.50 per hour per crew member and $42.50 per hour per UTV. Road trucks don’t get charged when they are used, and the crew truck is only during spot spraying. Bev asked if the pricing started when we left the shop and Sara said no, the billing starts when we pull on to the landowner’s land and stops as soon as we leave.
  • Lance moved to update the billing and prices as follows, Lance 2nd – motion approved

The billing will start when the Fallon County Weed Crew leaves the shop yard and will end when they finish up at the landowner’s property. If they move between landowners, it end when they leave the 1st, start at the 2nd and end when they pull back into the shop yard. Prices for 2025 will be $25 per hour per crew member and $45 per hour per UTV.

  • Sara updated on the equipment and getting everything ready for the summer. She is still waiting for the road department to change the last of the tires and set up the UTV’s.
  • It was discussed that we are in need of a new board member. Amanda moved to Wibaux and we need a Fallon County resident to be on the board. Sara said that it would be nice to have someone who lives in town to be able to help with weeds there and getting more people in the city limits to participate in trainings and looking for weeds.
  • Meeting adjourned at 6:15pm
