Little Beaver Conservation District Minutes

Came to order: 5:13 p.m.
Minutes: The minutes from the November 2025 meeting were approved.
Public Comment: none
Introductions: N/ A
Attendance:

• Supervisors: Fred Houzvicka, Cris Beckers, Kodie Olsen, Roddy Rost, Keith Rustad
• Guests: Michelle Gorder-NRCS
• Employees: Jessica Stark
• Excused absences: N/A
  Profit and Loss: Last month’s profit and loss was approved by Fred & Kodie
  Financial Information: Kodie made a motion to pay the bills as presented, Fred seconded, motion
  passed. Bills were paid.
• Kodie made a motion to start writing checks for the debit account to keep $300 in the account
  each month.
  Education Outreach and Discussion:
• Jessica gave a report of where she is with the rethinking rangelands workshop. Sara is all
  finished up and Jessica is still waiting to hear from one speaker. Jessica will follow up with THEE
  Garage for food and snacks. Sara is working on advertising. She will put a few ads in the
  newspaper and will have Karol Zachmann do the talk in the town on the radio.
  Old Business:
• Fred is staying in touch with Shaun to get the rest of the building done.
• The new computer for the district has been ordered and should be in before Christmas.
• Jessica got a hold of Rolling Rubber and got new tires for the drill put on.
  New Business:
• The board approved the policies that were tabled in November. Fred made a motion to approve
  the board roles and responsibilities policy, Kodie seconded. Kodie made a motion to approve the
  remote work policy as well as the LBCD remote work agreement, Cris seconded. Kodie made a
  motion to approve the officer job descriptions policy, Fred seconded. Jessica and Terry are
  working hard to get all the policies done before their time is up.
• Kodie is working on getting the LBCD personnel policy updated.
• The board decided we did not need an audit done until January 2027.
• Jessica presented her new work schedule that will start mid-January.
• Jessica gave her coordinator report to see what she has been up to for the month.
• Jessica and Michelle have been working on getting the back room organized.

  With no other further siness Roddy adjourned the meeting @ 7:00 p.m. The next monthly meeting of
  ervation District will be held January 14th, 2026@ 5:00pm.
