Little Beaver Conservation District Minutes
October 8th, 2024
Came to order: 8:30 am
Present: Roddy Rost, Fred Houzvicka, Kodie Olsen, Keith Rustad, Quentin Burdick, Melissa Foster phone, Stephane Crisler, Michelle Gorder- NRCS
Public Comment: none
Minutes: The minutes from the September 2024 meeting were approved.
Profit and Loss: Last month’s profit and loss was approved by Kodie and Fred.
Financial Information: Kodie made a motion to pay the bills as presented, Quentin seconded, motion passed. The following bills were paid.
- Hwy 12 Equipment- October storage rent- $300.00
- Mid-Rivers Communications- Wi-Fi -$42.30
- Federal Tax Deposit- $375.20 (online)
- Montana State Fund- $547.49
Stephanie Crisler- $1,852.90
Baker Body Shop Inc- $576.67
- City of Baker- $20.30
- Rachel’s Accounting- $55.00
UI Contributions- $10.74

New Business:
- Stephanie gave her administrator report.
- MACD Convention in November was discussed. Kodie made the motion to approve Stephanie going from November 18th– 22nd. Fred seconded the motion. Stephanie will get Roddy and herself registered and hotel rooms. Kodie also made the motion to approve raising the limit of the debit card and transfer over $700.00 to cover the hotel rooms. Fred seconded. MACD Resolutions were discussed and voted upon. Resolution 24-01, Kodie made the motion to vote no, Quentin seconded. Resolution 24-02, Fred made the motion to vote yes, Quentin seconded.
Resolution 24-03, Kodie made the motion to vote yes, Quentin seconded. Resolution 24-04,
Quentin made the motion to vote yes, Fred seconded. Roddy will take the votes to convention. Frank Bondell presented the board with a quote to do the dirt work for the property. Kodie made a motion to accept the quote. Fred seconded. Stephanie will call Frank to get things going.
Tree prices from the nurseries were discussed. Fred made the motion to raise the trees $0.25 per tree and apple trees to what the nursery’ is asking. Quentin seconded the motion. Stephanie will update the tree form and get them mailed out.
- The drill was discussed, we are going to table that until December’s meeting.

With no other further business Kodie adjourned the meeting, Fred seconded. The next monthly meeting of the Little Beaver Conservation District will be held November 12th, 2024 @ 5:30 pm
