Little Beaver Conservation District Minutes
September 5th, 2024
Came to order: 7:00 pm
Present: Roddy Rost, Fred Houzvicka, Kodie Olsen, Keith Rustad, Dirk O’Connor, Melissa Foster, Stephane Crisler, Michelle Gorder- NRCS, and Veronica Grigaltchik- DNRC
Public Comment: Cris Beckers discussed the land corner lot on HWY 12 she will have for sale around May 1st. It will be 21 acres and she is not sure of a price at the current moment.
Minutes: The minutes from the August 2024 meeting were approved.
Profit and Loss: Last month’s profit and loss was approved by Kodie and Fred.
Financial Information: Kodie made a motion to pay the bills as presented, Dirk seconded, motion passed. The following bills were paid.
- Hwy 12 Equipment- September storage rent- $300.00
- Mid-Rivers Communications- Wi-Fi -$40.01
- Federal Tax Deposit- $381.28 (online)
- Stephanie Crisier- $1,875.46
- Menards- $29,268.35
- Bank of Baker- $750.00
- City of Baker- $20.30
- Ward Laboratories, Inc.- $2,624.70
Rachel’s Accounting- $55.00
Old Business:

New Business:
- Stephanie gave her administrator report.
- Kodie approved Stephanie to spend up to $60.00 for the MACD auction item, Mellissa seconded.
The board mentioned possibly buying something at the museum.
- Stephanie presented the board with a strategic planning quote from Terry Profota. Kodie made the motion to accept the quote and hire Terry Profota for LBCD strategic planning. Melissa seconded the motion. They also made the motion and seconded to apply for the planning grant due October 15th
- The drill was discussed, Keith would like Stephanie to compile a report on income and acres from the drill the past 3 years.
- Stephanie mentioned Griffith Excavating will dig and level the pad for the building for $25,742.00.

With no other further business Dirk adjourned the meeting, Melissa seconded. The next monthly meeting of the Little Beaver Conservation District will be held October 3rd, 2024 @ 5:30 pm
