Planning Board Meeting

July 2, 2024

Mandatory Meeting

6:33 P.M. Call to Order

Roll Call – Establish Quorum:

Members present: Vaughn Zenko, Vice President; Jon Slagter; Lisa Espeland; Michelle Gray; Carson Beach, President (called in)

Staff present: Brenda Wood, Fallon County Clerk & Recorder; Megan Slagter, Executive Secretary

Absent: Shelley MacKay Dean; Cheyanne Dame

Approval of Minutes:

Lisa Espeland motioned to approve the April 30th, 2024 Meeting Minutes.  Jon Slagter seconded the motion. Vaughn asked for any further discussion; being none.

4 Ayes. 0 Nays. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS

  1. Review Draft Planning Board By-Laws.

    Discussed additional changes for the by-laws. Clarified on part two zoning including workforce and airport zoning. Discussed terms of members; decided officers and members should have 2 year terms.

    Discussed order of agenda. Lisa suggested adjourning without a motion if there is no further discussion, as stated in Roberts Rules of Order; the board agreed to the suggestion. 

Jon Slagter motioned to adopt the by-laws as written with amendments. Michele Gray seconded the motion. Vaughn asked for any further discussion; being none. 4 Ayes. 0 Nays. Motion carried.
