Roll Call – Establish Quorum:
Members present: James Franson, Cheyanne Dame, Lisa Espeland; Shelley MacKay Dean by phone
Staff present: Forrest Sanderson, Fallon County Contract Planner; Kevin Braun, Fallon County Commissioner; Brenda Wood, Fallon County Clerk & Recorder; Cindy Irgens, Recording Clerk; Megan Slagter, Secretary
Absent: Carson Beach, President; Vaughn Zenko, Vice President; Jon Slagter
Recommend adoption of the Fallon County Growth Policy 2024/ Forrest Sanderson, County Planner
Forrest explained the process of building the Growth Policy. The current draft of the Growth Policy addresses major concerns of growth in Fallon County, City of Baker, and Town of Plevna.

Forrest asked the Planning Board members if they were prepared to recommend the Growth Policy.
Approve Resolution 3-2024 Recommending Adoption of the Fallon County Growth Policy 2024 Update
James Franson made the motion to recommend adopting the Fallon County Growth Policy 2024 Update. Lisa Espeland seconded the motion. Forrest asked for any further discussion; Lisa asked if Steve Zachmann got back with all his changes. Forrest answered that if anything was missing from the comment section for the City of Baker, the City will have to go through the adoption process first then they send any changes to Fallon County to adopt. 4 Ayes 0 Nays 3 Absent. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes:
James Franson made the motion to approve the January 2nd, 2024 Meeting Minutes. Lisa Espeland seconded the motion. Forrest asked for any further discussion; being none. 4 Ayes. 0 Nays. Motion carried.

James Franson made the motion to table the By-Law review until the next meeting. Lisa Espeland seconded the motion. Forrest asked for any further discussion; being none. 4 Ayes. 0 Nays. Motion carried.
