Plevna Rural Fire -DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING – July 2024

BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MEETING

OF THE

PLEVNA RURAL FIRE DISTRICT

July 11th, 2024

Chairman Shaun Crisler called the meeting to order, Directors Dana Buerkle and Larry Steffes. Chief Kalyn Bohle and Recording clerk Stephanie Crisler were also present. Director Cody Rieger and Bobby Wiedmer were absent.

The minutes of the June 2024, Board of Director’s meeting were read and approved.

Motion was made by Director Larry, seconded by Director Dana, and carried to pay the following bills:

                     Chairman Shaun asked for old business, he mentioned speaking with JB to install the switches on the trucks. Director Larry made the motion to have JB install the switches. Director Dana seconded.

                     Chairman Shaun asked for new business. Director Dana presented a bid from Direct Electric to correct the wiring in the walk-in cooler for $1,202.81. Director Larry made the motion to move forward with it and Director Dana seconded. Ordering a new truck was discussed, Director Dana made the motion to order a truck through Heiman, Director Larry seconded. Chairman Shaun will call Adam and get it ordered. There was a unanimous decision to leave the board members as elected previously Chairman Shaun Crisler, Vice-Chairman Dana Buerkle, Secretary Cody Rieger, Director Larry Steffes, and Director Bobby Wiedmer.

     There being no further business, Director Larry made a motion to adjourn.  Motion seconded by Director Dana and carried.
