Plevna Rural Fire -DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING – June 2024
Chairman Shaun Crisler called the meeting to order, Directors Dana Buerkle, Larry Steffes, Bobby Wiedmer, and Cody Rieger were present. Chief Kalyn Bohle and Recording clerk Stephanie Crisler were also present.
The minutes of May 2024, Board of Director’s meeting were read and approved.
Motion was made by Director Dana, seconded by Director Cody, and carried to pay the following bills:

Triple R Tractor & Equipment Repair, LLC invoice was for $4,500.00. Director Larry made the motion to pay only half of the bill due to amount of work that has been done on the truck, Director Dana seconded the motion.
Chairman Shaun asked for old business. A rental agreement was brought up by the Plevna town clerk for the community center. Since she couldn’t find one recording clerk Stephanie will type one up to bring it back to the board for review next meeting.
Chairman Shaun asked for new business. Chairman Shaun mentioned the two new batteries purchased last month were completely dead and mentioned having master switches put on the trucks. He will call around and get quotes to have that done on the trucks that don’t have them. Director Cody made the motion to raise the chief and recording clerk pay to $2,500.00 for the fiscal year. Dana seconded the motion.
There being no further business, Director Bobby made a motion to adjourn. Motion seconded by Director Larry and carried.
