Public Hearing – Intent to Purchase Real Property
Fallon County Resolution #1178 – Resolution Declaring Fallon County’s Intent to Purchase Real Property from the City of Baker
The County finds that it is in the interest of the County to acquire the properties below, and the Board intends to purchase the below real property from the City of Baker in exchange for forgiveness of the City’s loans with the County.
- Triangle Park and baseball fields
- Old Landfill
- Golf Course & Airport
- A vacant tract
The Commission shall hold a public hearing on the matter at the Fallon County Courtroom on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 5:30 PM. The Commission would like input from the residents whether in support or opposing such purchase. Interested persons may provide their opinions and feedback at the hearing or provide written opinions and information prior to the date. A copy of the Resolution can be reviewed at the Clerk & Recorders office.
