Treasurer’s Report:  Amanda reported on the December expenditures.  The financial handout was given out to the members present.  Georgia asked to have the financials sent out with the meeting reminder and agenda. Pam Castleberry made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report.  Darin Miske seconded the motion.  Motion Carried.

New Business:

  • North Repeater in Carter County:  Southeast Electric sold the North Tower to Carter County.  There was discussion on who is responsible for paying the electrical expense.  Darin Miske made a motion for the 911 account to pay the electrical expense for the North Tower.  Justin LaCroix seconded the motion.  Motion Carried.
  • 911 Legislation:  Trent led the discussion on the changes for 911.  There were several handouts passed out to the members in attendance.  The handouts are attached.  Trent will continue to follow the legislation action on these issues.
  • The new commissioners were introduced:  Mandi Varner—Fallon County.  Ms. Varner was present at the meeting.  Dan Dinstel—Carter County.  Mr. Dinstel was not in attendance.
  • Invoices for Tab Electronics:  Amanda explained the concern on an invoice for the North Tower.  Eric was on the phone and explained the situation and the gave a detailed explanation on the expenses for the North Tower.  Kevin and Roy both said the Fallon County procurement policy stated that any invoice over $2,000.00 required Commissioner approval.  With this being said the invoices over this amount for 911 expenditures will be presented to the Fallon County Commissioners for approval.
  • Cost Sharing for KLJ on 911 addressing:  Amanda had concerns on the 911 addresses being done for Wibaux and Carter Counties.  She requested more communications from Brian and Georgia when requesting a 911 address and working with KLJ.  Georgia said they would be more adamant at communicating with Amanda in the process of requesting 911 addresses.
  • Tab Electronics Report:  Eric reported that the Dispatch Project was completed.  A project that the 911 Group should be aware of are the Quan tars needing updated.  There were five (5) replaced about three (3) years ago, but there are approximately ten (10) or eleven (11) Quan tars needing upgraded.  The Markuson Tower has a light issue that will be looked at once the weather improves.  The Alzada Tower need to have the temporary rack replaced with a permanent rack within the building.  The request for a current price sheet on the Quan-tars be given to Amanda in the event the 911 grant becomes available.
  • I Am Responding:  This is working better. Eric and Christina have been helpful in assisting with issues with IAR.

The next quarterly meeting was set for 10:00 am on April 9, 2025.

There being no further business to be brought to the board, Trent moved to adjourn, Justin seconded the motion.  Motion Carried.

Respectfully submitted
