February 5th, 2025
Came to order: 5:30 pm
Present: Roddy Rost, Kodie Olsen, Keith Rustad, Fred Houzvicka, Stephane Crisler, Michelle Gorder NRCS, Dave Kirschten- MSU Extension
Public Comment: none
Minutes: The minutes from the January 2025 meeting were approved.
Profit and Loss: Last month’s profit and loss was approved by Kodie and Fred.
Financial Information: Fred made a motion to pay the bills as presented, Keith seconded, motion passed. The following bills were paid.
- Hwy 12 Equipment- February storage rent- $300.00
- Mid-Rivers Communications- Wi-Fi -$35.70
- Federal Tax Deposit- $408.82 (online)
- Stephanie Crisler- $1,992.52
- Stephanie Crisler- $1,250.00 (I-ISA)
- City of Baker- $20.30
- Rachel’s Accounting- $154.00
- Lane Legacy Beef- $72.00
- Barkleys Home Grown- $36.00
- sage 4 Success, LLC- $1,833.00
Old Business:
- Kodie asked about the cell phone number for Little Beaver and asked if Stephanie was back in the office for her normal hours.
New Business:
- Stephanie discussed the dates Terry Profota would like to set up zoom meetings with the board members for LBCD strategic planning
- Stephanie mentioned funds should be transferred over to the debit card for the reoccurring payment to Verizon that comes out monthly. Quentin made the motion to transfer over $300.00 from checking to the debit card account. Fred seconded the motion. Kodie said she would go to the bank and take care of it.
- Drill rates were discussed, they will remain the same but the sheet needs to be updated. Renting out the tree planter and fabric layer were also discussed. Kodie made the motion to not allow renting out the tree planter and/or fabric layer due to liability issues. Quentin seconded that motion.
Excusal of Absences: Fred made the motion to excuse Dirk and Melissa, Keith seconded the motion.
