Plevna Rural Fire – DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING – June 12th, 2025

June 12, 2025

Chairman Shaun Crisler called the meeting to order, Directors Cody Rieger, Dana Buerkle, Bobby Wiedmer, Larry Steffes, Chief Kalyn Bohle and recording clerk Stephanie Crisler were present.

The May 2025 Board of Directors’ meeting minutes were read and approved.

Motion was made by Director Bobby, seconded by Director Cody, and carried out to pay the following bills:

             Chairman Shaun asked for old business. He mentioned talking to Adam about the truck ordered last year. He also let the board know the recall on truck 942 has been fixed.

Chairman Shaun asked for new business. Jade from the Insurance store gave Shaun an updated insurance list for the board to go over. The board decided all the buildings were correct. Director Dana would like to see a quote for liability only on the vehicles. Chairman Shaun will get the paperwork back to Jade and let him know. The board mentioned putting truck 944 up for sealed bid. Recording clerk Stephanie will post the information online. Chief Kalyn brought quotes for new gear, that discussion will be tabled until the next meeting.

There being no further business, Director Larry made a motion to adjourn.  The motion was seconded by Director Dana and carried.
